After further examination of my Wacom software and drivers, the upgrade is for the Wacom Front End (preferences dashboard), not the board. SI apparently finds the driver for this and not, as implied, for the actual board drivers. I find that SI frequently identifies an updated program as needing the same upgrade that has already been installed. These mistakes HAVE helped to identify multiple installations of the same software which allows me to find all the old traces and delete them. So even in mistakes, SI serves a purpose for me.
